Biracial Hairstyles

BIRACIAL HAIR

By the term biracial it literally means amalgamation of two races. It is a mixture of two cultures resulting in having traits and attributes of both the cultures involved. Biracial hair is one of the clear demarcations of belonging to a multicultural background. Most common biracial hair is of frizzy and curly texture. For most of the people having biracial hair the most common complain is that it seems dull and they have to straighten out their hairs for a variety of hairstyles. A biracial hair can be made healthy and beautiful by good moisturizing shampoo and cream conditioner, moisturizing solution or spray, deep conditioning treatment or hot oil treatment for once a month application, Satin sleep cap or satin pillow cases, spray bottle to spritz hair in case you just want to hit it with some water to comb, microwaveable or professional conditioning heat cap etc.

Biracial hair is styled in mostly ponytails, plaits, braids or the like. Many biracial people have naturally beautiful curls when their hair is wet and would like to keep that look once the hair dries. If you have naturally soft curls, you may keep it that way.

For soft springy curls here is the procedure.

1) Wash hair at least 1x per week (the other days just rinse)
2) Detangle hair each day
3) Put in a leave in conditioner.
4) Apply styling gel in hair.
5) Apply a little hair oil.
6) Let air dry if possible (you can put your hair in a ponytail to stretch it a little or just let it air dry.)
7) In the winter- use a blow dryer on the lowest temp, gently stretching the hair as you dry it.

Even perms are used to straighten out the hair or to style it the way one likes. Once the frizz is controlled one may desire to experiment with different hairstyles to suit your body and face frame.

Natural Black or African hair, as well as biracial hair tends to be dull, frizzy, and hard to comb. But these celebrities have figured out some tricks to manage their locks. Here is an example of popular celebs flaunting their biracial hairstyles!

A short style like Halle Berry once sported is an easy, yet stylish way to tame frizzy, out-of-control locks. Have your stylist use a pressing iron to straighten your hair and then, cutting your hair dry, have her cut textured and jagged layers all over to create a fun look. To style short strands, use pomade like Redken Water Wax Defining Pomade that will give you a versatile hold. With a short style like this, you can wear your hair naturally curly or straight depending on your mood.

Although commonly mistaken as biracial (Knowles's father is African American and her mother is of Creole - African-American, Native American, and French - descent), Beyonce has beautiful natural Black hair. If stunning straight strands is what you wish for, then get a style like Beyonce has. Although a weave is the easiest way to get this look, it can be achieved with the proper products and tools. Use a straightening shampoo with Anti-Frizz.
